Ionia’s Cole Cudney will compete in the MHSAA Individual Wrestling State Finals at Ford Field on March 1st and 2nd. Cole qualified for the state finals in the 130 weight class by placing 4th at the Fremont MHSAA Individual Regional on February 16th. He also won his 100th career match on the same day. The Ionia boys bowling team took 3rd place at Cherry Hill Lanes North MHSAA Team Regional last Friday, earning them a birth in tomorrow’s State Finals. The team was made up of 5 members (Sam Luginbuhl, Johnathan Wriston, Austin Schneider, Cole Pung, and Xavier Begerow) and rolled a total of 3,142 pins on the day.
